Practice Manager

Mrs Leaza Webb (F)  Dip ILM

Leaza is our Practice Manager who has an experienced background in healthcare. As The practice manager she will be involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. As the Practice Manager she will support the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.


Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.

Michelle is our new reception manager, She manages the reception team and she works cohesively with the whole practice to ensure the smooth running of our services.

The secretaries are here to support the GPs. They arrange any urgent referrals, organise the admin around a normal referral, write out letters on behalf of the GP. Their work is highly skilled and they interact with patients on a daily basis. They offer all round support to the admin, GPs, reception and the nursing team at the practice.

Admin Team

We currently have 13 admin support staff. These are valued members of our practice, and they have to work as a team and support the entire practice. The Admin Team work consists of IT, Finance, HR, New registrations, Patient deductions, Patients note summarising, Coding, Scanning, Patient requests and Enhanced services reporting. Not only is their work highly confidential, they have to make sure all patient records are correct and up to date in accordance with GDPR regulations. They are essential to our practice and we rely on them to carry out their work to a high level of competency.
