Pharmacists

Krisinder Singh (F) Full Time at Woodley site

Krisinder has recently joined our team. She plays a vital role in the team. She complement’s community pharmacists and other members of the PCN multi-disciplinary team. As a Clinical Pharmacists she works as part of the general practice team to  resolve day-to-day medicine issues and consult with and treat patients directly. This includes providing extra help to manage long-term conditions, advice for those on multiple medications and better access to health checks.

Mary-Jane Nwosu (F)

Mary-Jane deals with Medication Reviews, Diabetic Reviews, Asthma and general medication management. she works on a Tuesday all day and Wednesday mornings at the Woodley site.

Pharmacy Technician

Bonnie Houghton (f) Sylwia Godden (f)

Bonnie and Sylwia will be supporting the pharmacists and other healthcare professionals in their work. They will assist the delivery of safe, effective and efficient systems for medicines optimisation, repeat prescribing, reducing medicine waste and maximising patient outcomes. We hope they will be an asset to our team and they will be working cohesively with the pharmacy and clinical teams.

Physician Associates

PAs (Physician Associates) are trained as physicians in the medical General Practice team to perform tasks such as obtaining patient medical histories, performing clinical procedures and clinical examinations, diagnosing diseases, and formulating medical management plans. Their care and treatment is carried out with the guidance of a GP. Although they cannot prescribe medication they can sort out medication for the patient with the assistance of a GP.

Louise Edmunds – Physician Associate (full time)
Louise joined our practice after carrying out her training with Dr Jheeta. She has been working with us a few years now and is a very valued member of our clinical team. She works cohesively with the clinicians and specialises in minor illnesses. She works at the Woodley site 4 days a week.

Physiotherapists

Physiotherapists are currently working in primary care as first contact practitioners (FCP), assessing and managing patients with musculoskeletal conditions instead of GPs. We have 3 Physiotherapists at the moment working across both of our sites, assessing our patients physio needs.

They work on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays at the practice.

Paramedic

Steve Hazard (m)

We welcome Steve to Parkside. Steve has joined us from another surgery and is highly experienced Paramedic. Steve will provide a supportive role to the GPs and will provide a responsive safe and effective caring service to patients. Steve can prescribe medications for patients as and when necessary. He will also be undertaking visiting patients at home.

Ruvimbo Katsholo (f)

Ruvimbo is playing a combined consultation, advice and triage liaison role at our practice. She will work with patients to support decisions, and self management. and she will facilitate onward access to treatment services and provide psychological interventions when qualified to. She works on a Tuesday and Thursdays at the woodley site.

Health Coach

Mark Quirk (Male)
Mark has recently joined our practice and deals with the health and wellbeing of patients. He provides tailored plans for patients based on their initial assessment and current fitness levels and lifestyles. He works with us 1 day a week.
